Urth- With locations in almost every part of LA, this spot is extremely popular, yet gets the job done when you are hungry and want something good to eat. My personal favorite location is the West Hollywood one.
Toast- The absolute perfect brunch spot. While there can sometimes be a line, you can’t beat their large menu of breakfast and lunch specialities. I’ll usually end up here on a weekday, when I know there won’t be as many people.
The Kitchen- Located in Silverlake, this hole-in-a-wall restaurant has a unique menu, with some classics, that will for sure satisfy your lunch needs.
Kreation- Whether you want to grab a full lunch or just a juice, this restaurant chain can be seen throughout different parts of LA. My favorite location is on Abbot Kinney in Venice.
Shopping:
The Grove- Topshop and Zara and Nordstrom, oh my. All I’ve ever wanted is located in this extremely popular shopping center, so whenever I am in the mood to shop, this is always my first stop.
The Beverly Center- Filled with higher end stores, as well as favorites like Forever21, this mall is absolutely huge. They house probably the biggest Forever21 I’ve ever seen, and I always find those cute pieces I see online in this store.
3rd St Promenade- Another popular shopping destination, but it really has everything you need. It is also right by the beach, how can you complain?
Melrose Flea Market- Located every Sunday at Fairfax High School, this flea market is a great place to score some unique pieces or just check out the local scene.
Rose Bowl Flea Market- This is the Melrose Flea Market on steroids. On every first Sunday of the month, people flock down to the biggest and baddest flea market in LA.
Coffee Break:
Alfred Coffee- I’ve been coming to Alfreds for almost two years, and while they are super busy at their original location on Melrose Place, I will never get sick of their White Coconut iced tea.
Commissary- I’m here almost every morning before work. Their staff is friendly, and their coffee and tea is great. The two locations I’ve been to are in Burbank and Fairfax Ave.
Go Get Em Tiger- Located in the Larchmont Village, this coffee shop has a unique twist on coffee classics, and you can also enjoy the madness and cuteness of this street.
Dinner:
Joans on Third- Located down the street from Toast is one of my dinner favorites. The original Joans is located in West Hollywood, but they also opened up a location in Santa Monica. Their giant salads are perfect to split with a friend.
Chataeu Marmont- If you are looking for something special, I always recommend making dinner reservations here. You just cannot beat a rooftop dinner looking over Sunset Blvd.
Sunset Plaza- With a variety of different restaurants, like Le Petit Four and Cafe Med, this part of Sunset Blvd is perfect for grabbing a bite to eat, as well as walking around.
After Dinner:
Bowling- A guilty pleasure of mine and my friends is bowling. We get stupidly competitive. We usually go to our local bowling alley on the way home, however if you want a treat, Jillian’s Billiards at Universal City Walk provides an awesome experience.
Sprinkles Cupcakes- When in doubt, go to Sprinkles Cupcakes and Ice Cream. I actually used to work at Sprinkles, but I’ve been a fan for much longer than that. I usually hit up the OG in Beverly Hills, but they also have a location at The Grove.
Griffith Observatory- If you want a sweet view at night of all of LA, go up to the Griffith Observatory. Sometimes my friends and I just go up here and look out in awe because we live in such a great city. It really is a perfect way to end your day.
