Words can do incredible things. They can make you. They can break you. They can make things clear, but they can also make things confusing.
Ironically enough, writing was never my thing. In middle school and a part of high school, english class was never my strongest suit. So ironically enough, my major revolves around writing, and now I write a blog that anybody can see. Crazy how things change, ain't it?
To me, words were never more than just something that you can find on paper or you can hear from someone's mouth. But this year made me realize the importance words have. This year made me realize the way words make you feel.
A string of words can change your life. It can change the direction you go in. It can change your plans. Almost everything you say, hear, or read leads you to "go ahead" or "stop right there."
"I love you."
"I hate you."
"I want you."
"I never want to see you again."
"Congratulations, you did it. You got it."
"Sorry, you didn't do it. You didn't get it."
All of that, as simple as possible, can change you.
The words you hear, say, and read can change your life in an instant.
Sometimes your words will be profound. Other times, not so much. But no matter what these words are, they have more impact on you than you'd like to think. Maybe you haven't realized it yet, or maybe you refuse to realize it because perhaps words can scare you.
Whatever the case may be, take these words and learn, grow, inspire, and create your life through them.
